We want to introduce our guests to a menu inspired by the technology and classics of French culinary culture, thereby encouraging them to enjoy social gatherings with good food, carefully selected drinks and fun and laughter.

You can hold your memorable event with us. We are ready to host smaller and larger events at Humal BISTRO, offering the whole room for larger groups or the second floor and a closed outdoor terrace for smaller groups with a complete technical and event management solution.
Together is always better! We are happy to say that our best friends are the restaurants Kampus, Pompei and Fii Restoran (awarded with the Michelin Guide in 2022 and 2023). Together with them we have grown up and developed. We always discuss together and our biggest common goal is to create a good place to stay for all guests in the heart of Tartu.
Pallas Hotell is an art hotel located in the center of Tartu, in the same building as the restaurant Humal, which underwent a complete renovation in 2020, and the interior design of the rooms is inspired by the works of artists of the Pallas school. The interior architect of both Hotel Pallas and Restaurant Humala is Ville Lausmäe (VLS Interior Architecture). When staying at Hotel Pallas, you can enjoy the hotel’s breakfast in Humal.
Humal has long been a part of the cultural history of Tartu and have entered the lives of Tartu residents to stay. Our idea was born from the desire to offer visitors the freedom to be. Freedom is the key word that describes our nature in many ways, thus manifesting itself in the selection of food and drinks, the appreciation of the historical space, the revival of the name, and the team that implements it on a daily basis.
